Originally from California, Krista moved to Georgia after attending Musikgarten training in Marietta in July 2018. While in GA, she fell in love with the hospitable culture and beautiful countryside. Opportunity arose to teach voice and piano lessons at Jennings Music & Education Center, to teach Musikgarten classes as a ministry partner of Noonday Baptist Church, and most recently to teach with Musik to Grow studio. 

Krista has a wide array of experience in teaching, directing, and performing. She has taught private voice and piano lessons for 10+ years as well as group classes to all ages of children in choir, music theory, instrument ensembles, etc. She has directed 30+ shows and has served on church staff in the capacity of children's music director. She has also performed extensively in a wide variety of settings, from churches, to the White House, to community events, to hospital rooms. As a performer, director, and teacher, Krista knows the value of foundations, community, and developmentally appropriate teaching. These are the things she values most in the Musikgarten curricula. Whether working with a student one-on-one or in a group setting, Krista has earned a beloved place in the hearts of countless students and parents.
